    Evening all

Just thought I'd drop in and say hi from Warwickshire. I've just bought a 2013 TTSE to replace a company RT as a daily motorway commuter, and I'm killing time until it turns up next Friday by trying to read everything I can about it...

No doubt there will be questions, but I wanted to introduce myself before that begins!

    Welcome to the club. :821:

So what happened to the RT? Did you have the use of it for long? Would be interested to know your thoughts on it and how you get on with the Trophy. :002:

    Thanks both!

I had the company RT for 3 years, but it hadn't seen much action for the last 12 months. Originally it was for a project that involved it being covered in sensors but the project changed, I moved house, and frankly the 30 minute train journey beat the 60 minute ride to work so it started gathering dust. Ironically I moved office a day after it went back and now find myself with a motorway commute again - I'd been looking for another RT when I found the Trophy.

I loved the RT - mostly. Warmer and dryer than my land rover (with a better sound system!) I also loved its handling and all the toys. Problem is I couldn't do more than an hour or so without feeling cramped and spent many miles trying to find somewhere to put my legs (at 6'3" ish this is not uncommon on 2 wheels). I'm not sure the Trophy will be hugely different in that aspect, but unlike the RT it does at least offer a bit of flexibility and the option to lower pegs etc if needed.

I haven't actually ridden the Trophy yet! I sat on two in different dealers, neither of which would let me test ride it until the weather improved, so I bought one unseen from a Harley Dealer near Corby that will be delivered next Friday... a leap of faith! It has a solid dealer service history though, and a 6 month warranty (that may or may not be worth the paper it's written on), so fingers crossed. I also have a T120 and a friendly local Triumph dealer - another issue with the BMW - so hopefully it will all come together...

PS I knew the blue ones were superior...

:400: to the forum.  Another correct assumption (OK, you know what they say, already!) about the blue one. :745:

I'm intrigued about the sensors/project, can you tell us more?
