    Tank Bag
    on: Feb 09, 2020, 05.23 pm
    Feb 09, 2020, 05.23 pm
    Good afternoon everyone!
I am Brazilian and here the few dealers have very few accessories for Trophy, since it has not been sold here for years.
I am looking for the Tank Bag for my Trophy SE 2014.
As I intend to buy online for international shipping to Brazil, I found only the one with serial number Triumph A9510095, but I saw that this is fixed on the bike through straps. The bag that I would like to buy is the one that is attached directly to the three attachment points on the existing support on the motorcycle tank with quick coupling, that is, I wanted the bag that had the attachment clips directly on your body, without needing to strips to secure it.
Would any of you know how to tell me where I can find this bag so I can buy it?
Attached is a photo of the bag I want to purchase ...

Hello Celso Novo, and  :400: to the group.

There is a member active on here, his forum name is Coconut, I know he made some of these brackets that was just as good as the original, I'm not sure if he has any left, but keep an eye on your post, he will see it, and will reply back to you, the bag it self is retained by two hooks at the rear, and the front is attached by one quick release bracket, I have one of the genuine tank bags, done many miles with it, and it works well, very simple to detach when required.

Failing that, there is one you can buy, where it is locked into place with a ring fixed to the tank filling hole, the bag is placed over the ring, and secured by a twisting action, these work well too...Look at the makers site, GIVI, you will find them online.

    Hello, Paul Wilko!
    Thanks for the information!
I will try to find the member Coconut and talk to him.
As for the GIVI tank bag, I already saw it. It is sold here in Brazil, but I would like to buy the one that is fixed directly to the original three points of the bike.
Thanks again for the prompt reply!

This is the genuine Triumph tank bag, the same as mine, I use it when touring, things like passport, glasses, wallet and any paperwork, a very useful bag I find, but don't use it all the time.

It is a huge honkin' tank bag.  I just bought smaller CorTech bags and made my own straps to mount when needed, so I have a medium size and a small size that both get used depending on the duration of the trip.

In case anyone is interested, I put some photos of the bag that we always carry when we travel.

It is small, but inside it fits a lot.

The best of all is that, being Monoblock in a second, you put it on and take it out and it's very safe.

You don't have to put the tapes on the motorcycle or anything like that.

This appears to attach on a gas cap ring. Am I right? If so, what is the brand name?
