    First ride today. Wow.

I bought my 17 Trophy 4 to 5 weeks ago while waiting to recover from surgery(and weather). Wow, what a ride and handling. I'm still adapting to the low center of gravity from my tiger 1200xr. I'm surprised the motor moves this bike along like it does, and smooth. Very happy. Looking forward to putting on lots of time and miles. Some very minor issues are the mirrors show too much of my hands and I haven't warmed up to shape of the wind shield yet. Otherwise I'm very impressed with this bike. Can't wait to ride it again.

Welcome to you. Roll on the good weather!
I too think the mirrors are poor and almost turned around back to the dealers on my test ride 7 years ago. Glad I persevered now.

Add extra mirrors. The threaded sockets are already there at handlebar height.

To help if you start searching for mirrors :

The threaded holes in the Front Brake and Clutch Master Cylinder Housings ( they usually have
rubber blanking plugs in them ) are both standard M10 x 1.25 pitch Right hand threads.  :028:

I love the mirrors, for me they work great, each to their own, but I think they look silly, seen a TTSE with "ordinary" ones fitted, they just don't look right.

I think I'm of the same view (no pun intended).  But saying that, I have actually bought a pair to use on the next European trip in June.  I'll give them a go.

I have never had the need to put other additional mirrors, with which it is of origin I see perfectly.

The only thing that like any vehicle the problem was when passing and changing lanes, is the problem of the blind spot, which is solved by installing a warning system with sensors with built-in radar.
Only motorcyclists know why dogs stick their head out the car window.
