    Smart Brake Module

    SMART BRAKE MODULE

MAKES YOU VISIBLE WHEN SPEED DECREASE

FLASHES YOUR BRAKE LIGHT WHEN SPEED DECREASES DUE TO ENGINE BRAKING OR DOWN-SHIFTIN

Smart Brake Module is a small electronic device, which senses when the bike is slowing down by the means of engine braking or down-shifting and it activates the brake light.

You can choose between 2 options for the operation of the Smart Brake Module – FLASHING and STEADY mode.

    HOW DOES IT WORK?

Smart Brake Module uses accelerometer and motion detection sensors combined with proprietary algorithm to detect when you are engine-braking or down-shifting.

It’s an intelligent system that doesn’t interfere with the actual brake light operation.

It simply senses when the bike is slowing down and operates the brake light in the situations when you’re not actually applying the brake.

Digital, the only issue I can see with the fitment of such a  device would be the constant on off of the break light to following riders. With constant throttle adjustments used when negotiating a twisty road it would cause a knock on effect [braking] to those behind. Or in other words is the guy in front actually braking or not. Could become a bit disconcerting or downright annoying.  :821: :158:

Here in the UK at least, I'm not sure how you would get on with such a flashing light legally and whether or not the bike would pass an MOT.  :187:

In Spain, everything that the factory exit motorcycle does not carry is also illegal, if you pay and go through the industry there is no problem.

In any case, the circuit can be configured in fixed or flash mode.

    I totally agree with  Hackle.
It could be quite annoying at times.
