CalSci Screen Owners I Need Help
« on: August 13, 2013, 09:04:18 PM »
Guys

Delivered my screen and out of the box it was broken. I've been in touch with the supplier and he has told me to fit the screen as a trial and he replace when he gets supply from the US :028:
But when the screen is offered up to the bottom rails the screen doesn't follow the profile the holes are off and when its bolted up it looks like it has a beak and there is a gap at the top of the lower rails.
If this is the norm then he can have the screen back and refund my money because it looks sh#te  :005: :005:

Opinons and suggestions guys :084: :084:

I got a Calsci screen last week.

It fitted ok, and I never had any problems like you seem to be having.

Took it out for a long ride, and we decided it was hardly any better than the stock screen, so it is going back I'm afraid!

Yikes :156:  Take a look at the larger Triumph screen which came on the Launch model.  I think it is the same size as the CalSci.

Might be an obvious question, but why don't you use the larger touring screen from Triumph. I had it fitted to my Trophy and I find it superb, great weather protection and quiet ride ( I am 6' 2" tall).

After seeing the problems that Chaos is having and the report back from Madshep I am glad that I have not blown nearly £200 on a Calsci screen. I think the original will do for now or possibly the larger Triumph item.

Yes, I had been toying with the idea of the Calsci screen but I think I will put my money to butter use elsewhere!

I feel some new leathers coming on!  :008: :008:

That screen is ALL WRONG brother, they must have sent you a screen that belongs to another bike. The fit of my screen to the bike is straight as an arrow and looks SEXY...I'm afraid your's is sh#tTEY... :431:  Send it back before your poor bike develops a stutter or acne or something from all the other BAD BOYS out there that are gonna make fun of him!
