Cruise control min' speed
« on: August 15, 2013, 11:45:20 AM »
The book states 4th gear or higher and 40 mph or higher, before cruise control can be set.
Out of curiosity, I tested this yesterday and managed to set it at 29 mph in 4th. Ideal for UK residential / town 30 mph limits.

I wonder if there is a technical reason it is limited to 4th, 5th, and 6th.  I live in an area full of 30 and 35 MPH speed limits, with very zealous police.  Cruise control helps me keep the speed under control, so it would be pretty nice to have cruise in 3rd gear.
