Has anyone had a 40,000 mile service done on their Trophy and what were they charged. I got a quote for $2100.

That's nearly the value of the bike. I think a lot of your cost is the fork maintenance; ask for a breakout

I cannot seem to find my receipt for my 20k service, which is similar to the 40k with the addition of a fuel line, fork fluid/seals and a couple of other things. The charge I processed was $900 for my BMW/Triumph dealer to do the work. The main thing I wanted them to do was the valve adjustment, which was the main high $ charge in the 20k

For Mileage based services the ONLY additional operation at 40,000 miles,
compared to at 20,000 miles, is to renew the Fork Oil.
There
may
be other additional Yearly scheduled items
depending on the age of the Trophy :
Every 2 years ( regardless of mileage ), Replace trhe Brake and Clutch Hydraulic Fluid.
Every 3 years ( regardess of mileage ), Replace the Coolant.
Every 4 years ( regardless of mileage ), Replace the Fuel Pump Foam Baffle ( if fitted ).
Every 4 years ( regardless of mileage ), Replace the Fuel and Evaporative Loss Hoses ( if fitted ).
Hope this helps !

Re the "foam baffle", and the "fuel and evaporative loss hoses", were these fitted to the bikes for any particular market ?? VIN number ??

I can’t find any reference as to which Markets these parts apply to,
but I believe these are for those Bikes required to have the
“Evaporative Loss” system in those Countries having stricter
emissions regulations, possibly in the U.S.
I don’t think they apply to the Australian market, but that’s just a guess !
Cheers
