:400: Crank to the forum and of course Trophy ownership. When this world wide "interruption" to our normal daily activities passes, there will be time to put your good wife on the back and go for a ride. Hopefully she will, like my wife, appreciate the comfortable pillion seat. My wife has done 1000 kilometres in a 14 hour ride, and, naturally got of the bike a "little" bit tired. What woman over 65 wouldn't.
I'm sure that ride you have planned for you both will be very much enjoyed when it comes around. Till then read up and learn about how good the Trophy is for long distance riding. Mine has got over 76 thousand kilometres of trouble free touring under it's belt. I couldn't think of a better bike to be on. Cheers.  :821: :158:
HACKLE     I'm too young to be this old.

Hackle, you and the Mrs are amazing!   :020:

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement.  I feel I should clarify though.  And this is not to discount my wife's fortitude on the road as she has also done the odd 1000k day in the saddle!  She just chooses not to anymore.  So, I'll be riding down to the Canyon solo and meeting up with my wife who will be flying down!  LOL!   :017:
We'll spend a few days checking out the Canyon and other local sites. I will then drop her off at the hotel and carry on with the rest of my trip!   This trip would be my first long haul trip after retiring so I would prefer not to be bound by time.  My wife, on the other hand, is still doing her 9-5.

I would like to take a moment and thank everyone for the warm welcome!  I was in my garage... yes, admiring my bike, and my phone started going off with a barrage of notifications.  When I looked to see what all the fuss was about, I realized it was all of you saying welcome to the forum!  Very nice!  It made me smile.  :169: :001: :034:

    Hi Dad.
Tennessee, nice!  Blue Ridge Parkway, Memphis (Graceland), Nashville.  The Mrs and myself have been there a few times.  Awesome bike trips!  Beautiful biking roads and amazing scenery! Great people too!  :821:

Good to hear from you Crank,  We are about 100 miles east and north of Nashville. In Livingston. Retired here because of the cost of living and weather. And the incredible riding.
