Low Rider Seat switch to High Rider?
    on: Apr 10, 2020, 10.49 pm

I recently bought a used 2015 Triumph Trophy SE that came with the Low Rider seat.
    Two questions:
First, is that the OEM seat the bike normally comes with?
Second, any suggestions for how to get a High Rider seat for my bike?

I believe the low rider seat came standard on the US version,  not sure about Canada version.
About to install a heated riders seat and hope is taller than the low rider currently on bike.  That and the 1" lower knight design foot pegs I'm also about to install should allow me to stretch out my 6'2" height a little more! :028:

Thanks for the speedy reply, Canes1.
I will be interested to hear about the height and shape of the heated seat you're installing.
I have been looking online for High Rider seats ... so far, only seem to be available for the Tiger models.

BTW, I have a brother living just north of Atlanta. Ahh, peach country.

I think what your looking for is the "Standard" seat. I believe Triumph made 4 different seats, standard, comfort,  low rider and heated seats.
I'm hoping they modeled the heated seat after the standard version with a heating element.
With that and lowering the pegs, should give me about 2" of leg stretch!

Stick around this forum...I promise you will learn a lot about your bike! :169:

There's no such thing as a Triumph branded "High" Seat for the Trophy.

Here's a loist of the Seats and PArt Numbers that were originally available,
where you wil see that tthe Heated Options came in "Low" ans "Standard" Heights.

There may be one or two other Part Numbers out there,
as a result of minor modifications since thsilist was compiled :

    • Heated Low Rider Seat                   A9708351
    • Heated Rider Seat                          A9708350
    • Heated Pillion Seat                          A9708260
    • Rider Comfort Seat                         T2308262
    • Passenger Comfort Seat                 T2308266
    • Low Rider Seat                               T2304486
    • Standard Rider Seat                        T2304485

Touratech made high and low seats for the Trophy.
