At this juncture, we have a 50/50 chance of getting the right answer.  That's pretty easy odds.

Perhaps the answer to this question would be more challenging when the 2014 TT models are launched.  :047:  But as you asked, 'blue' of course.

Always ride in control.

From a purely scientific point of view.

Blue is a darker color than silver and therefore absorbs sunlight and heat (laws of thermodynamics)

This absorbing of sunlight and heat causes the surfaces to expand thereby creating a greater surface area which everyone knows is less efficient due to increased drag and increased wind resistance.

Therefore:
Both bikes are equally fast when they are stationary
Both bikes are equally fast at night or when used in the UK (no sun)

I didin't buy the bike, or choose it's colour for it's speed, but as you asked :
I have ridden fastest on a Silver one, which happens to be MINE,
so Silver gets my vote   :152:

It's a no brainer...Blue. In France, Spain & Italy, what colour are police motorcycles?

The answer begins with a "B" not with a "S".

Ride in the above countries, on a motorway & watch the cars pull over to allow you to pass.   :017:

As I have posted previously, on a recent off road ride, 2 up, both panniers full, camping holdall on back rack, tank bag, screen up, I got up to 130mph & the bike was still going.

It's quick and fast.  A complete touring bike. What a machine.  :156:
