    Rear Shock repair/refurb

I unfortunately have needed to replace my rear shock twice now. First one at 45k and funnily enough the second at 90k. I contacted several specialist shock repair outfits all of which told me the electric trophy shocks can't be repaired. Well for those who end up in a similar situation I can fully recommend FIREFOX RACING LTD from Keighley. Great job done and despite mine needing replacement piston rod due to corrosion still well less than half new price including dhl collection/delivery. Find them on google. Brilliant service.

I used Firefox for one of my Bmwr1200rt and they were excellent, plus 1/3rd of the replacement price.

    Great information H2nra - thanks for sharing !  :028:

Just to clarify - they were able to overhaul a Trophy SE electrically adjustable
Rear Suspension Unit, and return it to fully working order  ?

    Cheers  :821:

Sounds great, how much do they charge to work on these electronic type shocks?

My BMWR1200RT was £135 to repair and £410 to replace from BMW. It took 2 weeks but we'll worth it.

Thanks, that sounds like a reasonable price.
