£550 for the whole lot is really cheap. It is double that from a Triumph Dealer plus labour to fit it. I cried!!!

    ianmason :

    £550 ? - I'm confused now ( easily done !  :087: )

Is that what you paid Triumph or what the O.P. ( H2nra ) paid ? - Still waiting for a reply
from him to confirm if this was a repair to an electrically adjustable Trophy Rear Suspension Unit
and whether the electrical Damping adjustment function it was fully operational after the repair ?  :187:

I see that this damper is not the original one of the TTSE.
In addition, I have been struck by the protection it carries, it is a wool type of what our grandmothers made jerseys.
Only motorcyclists know why dogs stick their head out the car window.

£1100 - that's what I paid A1 moto in York ( local dealer) to have the whole rear suspension unit replaced

Over here, in the USA, EPM Performance Imports(732 786-9777) will rebuild the rear esa shock on our SE's.
I know that they installed a higher rate Hyperpro spring on the rear of my bike, for the previous owner.
While I have not had any contact with me concerning the Trophy SE, I had purchased Hyperpro springs from them for my K1200LT.
They do list lowering links, also, for the SE.
So, there is a very reputable service available for suspension upgrade parts & services here in the US.
A good man once told me, "Don't sell your bike. It's your soul."....

Just to clarify as requested. Mine is a 2013 SE with the electric rear shock it lost all damping effort. I was told by several companies that the shock could not be rebuilt. Firefox Racing have rebuilt it and it has fitted back adjusting pre load etc off the load menu ie. sport, normal, comfort. luggage, pillion etc etc as it should. Due to current lockdown i'm unable to test ride but i can already tell from the ride height and feel when sat on it that it's back to what it should be. I'm totally confident as Firefox fully tested it before sending it back out.

Just to add the cost would have been £250 but as I needed a new piston to was £350 but still less than half the cost of a new one...
