Question about heated seats

Good afternoon.
I've just seen a very nice looking late Trophy SE for sale, with negligible mileage showing and I'm tempted...
On closer inspection, it's missing the heated seats that I love on my Explorer. I've checked online and these seem to be unobtainable now. Is this the case, or am I missing something?

Thay are no longer available from Dealers, and are quite a rarity now.

They do pop up now and again in the Forum "For Sale" Section,
and on places like "eBay" so keep an eye on those.

Russell Day Long seats can be purchased with a heat option as well.  Obviously, not OEM though.

My Russell heated seats are probably the #1 item that I added to this bike. The seat is comfortable for multiple long days in a row, and the heat works well.

I am/was planning a several thousand mile trip this summer, and the RDL seat makes that possible - the stock seats were fine for one long riding day, maybe two, but that was it. The RDL is comfortable even after the third 12 hour day.

If I found a set of stock heated seats, I would send them to Russell and have them rebuild the seats anyway - they're that good.

An RDL is in my future.  Sadly, not the near future  .  The biggest downside is the cost.  They are expensive but not as expensive as not riding your bike because it isn't comfortable for hours on end.  I was fortunate that I have a second set of seats that came with the bike when I bought it so they will eventually end up at RDL.

Do you need to start off with a heated diner seat to get a heated end result?
