I’m guessing a simple sticky pad on the back. Could have been something more professional. I don’t see any fancy attachment method. Cheap, effective, and low key.

Just went to their site an order a set of the "Motorcycle" specific mirrors. Don't know that there's a big difference between these and standard mirrors they sell.

With my R1200RT, i had the same problems: I saw my own arms the best.
I have solve this by buying Tiger mirrors.
This works for me.

Exactly what I did in the end  :028:

I know the Tiger mirrors to be good (from my own Tiger funnily enough!), but they were £200 a pair from the dealer, so went with £20 mirrors from eBay.

They lasted for less than a week until I wanted shot of them. Managed to pick up perfect condition mirrors on eBay (from two different sellers) for about £70 in total. Very happy with the result  :001:
After 7 years of riding the Tiger 1200 (the Trophy's disreputable hooligan little brother!), in May 2020 it was joined by a Ruby Red and Gold Trophy too 😁

I ordered a set of the Maxi mirrors earlier today and will remove the TINY little stick on type auto mirrors I have attached and have a LOT better view.  They show a removable kit for two vehicles that would allow you to move them back and forth from one vehicle to another without any of the adhesive fuss for those with two bikes (DON'T GLOAT if you own 2  :745:).

Got mine installed and really like having a little more mounting leeway than my little corner blind spot mirrors.  I like these.
