Well here it goes,,,,,,,,,,, May 2nd I was headed to West Texas and had only made it to Fort Worth on I-30 when it happened. :172:

I was cruising along when I looked into my rearview mirror and a pickup was gaining on me fast so I moved over to let them pass I had my cruise control on between 60-65 mph as the truck passed there was a car behind him I moved over behind the car just as I got in behind the car the pickup made a jerking move to the right lane cutting off another car ,, the pickup had blocked the view of the car and of myself that the lane was closed he almost hit a drum in the road the car slammed on his brakes I did also but could not stop in time and hit the cars rear bumper.

The driver of the car was ok.
The police officer did not issue any tickets as the road construction did not give notice of lane closure the officer told me.
    Pickup driver was long gone.

That leaves my Trophy I went down on the left side and the damage is just $10,000.
From what I have seen is on line 2014's are going from $7500 to $8500 I will see what they offer.
My insurance is drawing out the process and wants to devalue everything,  the problem with that most of  gear was newer due to my size going up,, I working on losing it, don't worry.

I lost my Go-pro in the accident also.

I broke my left ankle and left wrist had it not been for my Joe Rocker Jacket and Pants Good boots and Schuberth helmet and gloves it would have been a lot worse.
My doctor put me back together a few weeks ago on May 11th so now the recovery time.

I will say that here in Dallas "European Cycle Sports" Derek and Jake helped me a great deal getting parts I did not want to sell to the insurance company off my Trophy.

Fort Worth "Eurosport Cycle" Martha helped me with buying a 2015 Trophy and yesterday and will have it delivered to me so I can start the putting my old parts on.

We have two of what I think must be some of the best Triumph dealers around.

My New Trophy is Blue and I have been told it's the fastest color "Trophied" but as I'm 2slow my Silver Trophy was fine by me.

Wow, that’s a lot of events for a single post!

Glad you weren’t too badly hurt and that you’ve mended enough to sort the bike out and get another one that’s just as nice  :028:

Photos of the new one as soon as it arrives please  :001:

2slowTrophy, I'm sorry about what happened.

I hope he recovers soon and shows us his new bike.

Sorry to hear about this, but Blue is still the better colour to have, speedy recovery.
