That's my error - paraphrasing the contents of the TSB  :138: which actually says :

So the individual parts can be purchased, but ONLY the complete kit
should be retro-fitted.  e.g. You shouldnt just replace an "old" Selector Fork
with the "new" modified type, unless all of the other parts in the kit are also changed.

    Cheers  :821:

Thanks for the clarification Coconut!  I hadn't considered incompatibility between new and old versions of different parts - good to know!

Regarding clunky shifting, the Trophy is the first shafty I've owned but wondering if the whole shaft drive system and it's weight causes harder noisier shifts than a chain drive. I've also noticed on mine, especially downshifting, that if I cover the shifter with more foot rather than just my toe, I get much smoother shifts. My 1050 sprint shifts mega smooth but has many more miles on it so maybe the Trophy trans will break in as the miles increase.

Was just wondering if this service bulletin would result in a little smoother shifting, besides addressing the issue it was created for.
Don't get me wrong, love the bike but  just like anything, there's always little quirks! :084:

I have found the photos of plate number 3 of the kit.

As you can see, it has a significant friction, that sheet attached to the ball bearing, due to expansion of the aluminum as a result of the temperature created inside the gearbox, the ball bearing moves into the gearbox therefore the sheet cannot do its job and obviously rubs.

The parts shown in the Photo by digital are :

T1193377 Bearing Retainer Plate, and it's securing Bolt T3051063.

I can find no information to suggest that either of these parts has been modified,
and they are not included in the "Retro fitting kit" ( T1195566 ) subject of this Topic.

Where is the list of parts that make up the kit T1195566? Thank you...

... in my Post on 11th June I mentioned that the parts in the Kit are :

The Gear Selector Drum, Input and Output Selector Forks, and Detent Spring.

These are the individual Part Numbers of the modified parts :

    T1191195 : Gear Selector Drum
    T1195670 : Input Selector Fork
    T1195675 : Output Selector Forks ( 2 required )
    T1195432 : Detent Spring

Triumph are no longer supporting the previous Parts for engines up to Engine Number 7525144, EXCEPT the Detent Spring, so if JUST the Detent Spring needs to be replaced on an engine up to
Engine Number 752514, that can still be ordered and fitted.

If any of the other Parts need replacing, on an engine up to Engine Number 752514,
then ALL of the parts in the above list / Kit must be replaced.
