    Hi folks

Now that we are allowed to ride again and it was a lovely warm, sunny day and I had a camera remote to try out ......

It's been a long time coming and so glad we can get out again. I had a ide to Leeds, Skipton and Kirkby Lonsdale last week, 200 miles in nice sunshine. Hope it lasts!

Well Geoffboy that was fantastic, thanks for sharing, I did not realise the Cathedral was the biggest, good look around a famous city.

I have some questions as I have just started to edit my own videos.

Firstly what camera do you use, I think you said GoPro at one stage?

Secondly what mounting system do you use?

Lastly which video editing software do you use?

I loved the cyclist overtake, taking care of vulnerable road users and I also liked your voice over, a career in film industry awaits; unless this is your day job already?

    Thanks for sharing.
    Love, light, and kindness,

    Dave

    Geoffboy - Great video - and I got a mention !  :080:

Something that always makes me chuckle when I think of Liverpool
is the big shopping centre there which is called “Liverpool One”.

I'm no fan of football, but I know that Liverpool F.C. have
a rival Team called “Everton” - I just HAD to laugh when walking
through the Shopping Centre one day and saw the Everton Supporters shop, that they have cleverly named, “Everton Two”, making their postal address
“Everton Two, Liverpool One” !  :745:

    Cheers  :821:

We did the Fab Four Taxi Tour the week before lockdown started.  Great city....love the place.  Much like Newcastle.  We visited the Cavern Club and chatted with loads of Athletico Madrid supporters...that night was the Liverpool vs Madrid match and Coronavirus was raging in Madrid right then!  The Philharmonic pub is worth a visit...food is crap but the building is incredible.

Hi Garmin Dave. I use a Go Pro Hero 7 Black which offers good built in stability but because I wear an open face helmet for comfort camera mounting options are limited. I use a simple ball joint mount near the top of the helmet. I am very low tech so looked for a basic editor (really for family holidays) and settled on Movavi - latest version is 2020 (they keep updating it.) I wanted to add dialogue this time, better I think than captions, so bought a cheap microphone and added the voice over during editing to make it sound like I was talking on the bike. I'm too lazy to fit a mic etc inside my helmet and don't want my even very occasional videoing to distract from the riding. Will look forward to your first video posting - remember it's all in the editing!
Coconut that's Scouse humour for you and in view of your dedication to this bike you should really be offered a Hitchcock type cameo role in any Trophy related video.
Novocastrian I have been to Newcastle a couple of times and did the open top bus tour. The two cities are very similar as everyone says - full of history, friendly and fun.

I did one, posted on here, the first about overtaking with a lot of help from a friend:

and my second effort, about a Mnemonic I use, and on my own but overedited:
