Conversion
« on: August 23, 2013, 05:31:16 pm »
Stopped to fill up yesterday.  Guy at the next pump was on a Harley.  Asked what I was riding (guess he couldn't read).  But I gave him the 30 second elevator pitch on the Trophy.  He checked the Trophy out for at least 10 minutes.  Stood up.  Said "I love it"  asked a few more questions on power, handling and fuel economy, then announced he was going to the dealer this weekend and trade the HOG in on a new Trophy.  Sounded serious but only time will tell.  In any event chalk one up for Triumph!

I was hoping someone would pick up on that.  Originally I was going to say"guess he couldn't read, like most Harley riders" :008:   but I thought that might start a riot

It is interesting the range of different bikes that Trophy owners came from, far more diverse that most other bikes.
