    Work in progress...

The wheels, brakes and exhaust are now finished, the (subtle) decals have been cut and the bodywork has been stripped and sent to the paint shop (along with some very interesting paint). Meanwhile, the bike has just been picked up by the dealer for the recall on the ignition switch and wiring, a full 20,000 mile service and a check on the cooling system.

I'll keep you posted here  :028:

    Thank you.

It’s Candy Gold over a coarse metallic silver powder coat. It sparkles and changes appearance, depending on the angle the angle.

I would think you'd save some on the 20,000 mile service simply by already having the bodywork removed before dealer touches it!

Around £200 and as I bonus, I get to find out how the bodywork goes together, make it possible to lay the cables and tubing to fit a Denali Soundbomb air horn :007: replace the engine cover bolts with stainless steel and give it all a good clean when they’ve finished doing their spanner work  :028:

Thanks! The gold wheels were something that I really liked on my old Daytona and I wanted them back (the riding position, less so!  :015:)
