Glad to hear that you are going to be OK.

Thanks every one for all the good wishes i really appreciate it.
When i look at the pic of the poll i can see just how far i went on just my front wheel.
It was a very hard impact my feet broke off the shifter on the left and the mounting for the brakes on the right.
my arms broke the mount for the handlebars i was very lucky. The bike absorbed most of the impact and my gear did the rest.
I must be going too fast for too long evey time i get back i'm younger!!

Once again the Trophy is demonstrating the great motorcycle that it is, its weight says it all, well-positioned and robust irons with a double girder chassis, for something it is such a heavy motorcycle. Nothing to do with the BMW RT. I had a bad experience in a sharp fall that a car said goodbye scattered on the asphalt. My son and I were going and fortunately nothing happened to my son, I spent a couple of weeks with back pain, nothing fractured. The Trophy motorcycle suffered, radiator breakage, expansion vessel, gear shift pedal, left-hand fairing and both saddlebags. We were lucky that the Trophy chassis withstood all the impact.
Only motorcyclists know why dogs stick their head out the car window.

Looks like the rear shock forward pivot was toast already.
Sorry for your bike, glad you're still talking!

Hi bobv07662
