I'm thinking of adding R&G crash-bars mainly to mount highway pegs to stretch my legs and use my backrest. Can anyone recommend a brand of highway pegs that works well with the crash-bar? I would have to mount them as low and forward as possible.

Thx,
Tom

Hey Tom, good to see you posting on The Forum again!
Back in 2015 DonMoe posted a reply to the same inquiry, and referred to his write-up on the triumphrat forum.

I ordered the parts from Dennis Kirk, and the total came to just over $100.
Cheers!  :821:

You might want to take a look at T-Rex Racing Universal Highway Pegs:

https://www.t-rex-racing.com/Universal-Highway-Pegs-for-T-Rex-Racing-guards-p/hwpegs.htm

I have used these highway pegs on my Ducati Multistrada 1200S GT and TTSE and been quite satisfied with them on both bikes.  Had to move the positioning around a few times to get them where they felt the best while actually using them on the road.  You must tighten them down really tight to prevent movement once pressure is applied by your feet or legs.  They are high quality, well machined and they come with two length arms which enhances their positioning alternatives.

When I ordered mine (after installing my "Tralex" crash bars) I needed the 22mm version which said they were "out of stock."  So, I called T-Rex and spoke to a nice lady (Jackie I think??) who had someone find me a set of 22mm in the warehouse.  Believe T-Rex is in Dallas and they might just do a good ole boy from Texas a favor and hunting you up a set if they are still out of stock? :164:
