    Oldest Trophy 1215?

    A short story,

I bought my Trophy from a Guy who writes articles for bike magazines, freelance journalist. He bought the bike from some guy  who told him that the bike was originaly a press launch bike? He said that he couldnt be sure if it was true but interesting all the same. When I removed the left hand footrest hanger yesterday ther is a date handwritten on the inside, it seems to say "R" then " 29 / 5 / 12" the writing is very freehand so the "R" may be a 1 and a 2 close together... and the 12 isn't clear.

Has anyone elso noticed any handwritten dates on any parts of their bikes?

Take the outer black plastic covers off the Screen -
My Trophy has the name "Anwar" and date written in the underside.

I think this is a fairly common practice at the Factory
when Bikes are being built, for the assembler to do this.

    That's not worrying...

What counts are the specifications of your motorcycle documentation. That is the real thing !!!
Only motorcyclists know why dogs stick their head out the car window.

I have a 2012 SE registered in July 2012, first owner acquired the bike in July 2013, I am the second owner, acquiring the bike in Jan 2015, but there is no reference to who the bike was registered to between July 2012 and July 2013, I was told when I bought it that it was a pre-launch bike, as it has all the toys fitted from new.
