After 13 years and 54k miles on a 06 Kow Z1000, it was to time for an upgrade. First choice was a brand new Tiger 1200 Alpine Edition. $$$$$$ Second A low mileage 2018 BMW R1200RT at a reasonable price.

"no such thing". For choice number three, more in my price range, a used Tiger 800 XC or a 2014/15 Trophy. After 6 months of searching, reading reviews, reading forums, "this one is outstanding by the way"

. I happened upon a 2017 TTSE 1,700 miles, dressed in black. Your 350 miles away!? No problem, have truck will travel. After hearing "sorry it's sold" then the next day, "the guy had to back out, it's yours if you want". I got it home and off the truck the next day. After a week of ownership and a couple hundred miles, I am overjoyed with the bike. Thanks to all on this forum for the valuable information.
