my pillion finds that she tends to feel unsafe on the air hawk. I know it probably is therefore over inflated but I could not get it right. I then got a gel pad that was rubbish the gel deformed when it got hot and will not go back into shape. So I then got some 'alaska' sheepkins. I think they are great and if the pillion wears textile jeans then she thinks they are also. With leather jeans she tends to slide around. In fact on the last trip around France she had wrenched her back 2 days before setting off so I used the sheepskin on the seat and the air hawk on the front of the top box as a back rest, which worked well.
The sheepskins have the added benefit of not getting too hot when the sun is beating down (not usually a problem over here).
