    White paint

I recently bought a 2015 Trophy with 1600 miles on the clock. The bike was very clean. It has white paint. I've never seen any pics of a white trophy I have the only one I know of. The paint appears to be factory. Several friends feel the same. When I ran the VIN at the dealer, I was advised that the color is supposed to be blue. That leads me to believe that it was blue from the factory. I cant find evidence that the bike was once blue. Is it possible that the white paint is factory. Were any trophy white from the factory??

White has never been a Factory option on the Trophy.

The Original colours were Lunar Silver and Pacific Blue,
with Phantom Black being added a couple of years after launch.

There are a couple of Photo's of at least two White ones here :

    What about this colour........

If you remove one of the coloured Panels, e.g a Side panel ( easiest )
you will probably see the original colour on the inside surface,
which is unlikely to have been painted.

    Cheers  :821:

    No Mystery ....

The ( latest model ) TROPHY was generally only available from the Factory
in Lunar Silver, Pacific Blue and Phantom Black colours.

OTHER Triumph Models share various Parts, including Panniers and Top Box,
that WERE ( and in some cases still are ) available in other colours .....

Worth bearing in mind for the future as Parts become scarcer !  :028:

White lids on a Phantom Black colour bike might actually look quite OK.  Adds to visibility as well.
