I think I seen that bike for sale on Craigslist, north of D.C.? It was up for sale for at least a month, and in the first listing he said the bike was repainted Then after a couple weeks in the relist it did not say anything about paint. Maybe it was just the angle in the picture but the Triumph badge on the pannier looked out of place compared to the other side.

wasn't the trophy used as a service bike for municipal duties \. I cant imagine that they would only have blue silver and black for such duties. Or was this something that just didn't happen?? And thx for chiming in. I've been loving this bike put over 3k on it since the end of July

One way of knowing for sure is to pull a side cover off and look on the back side....Looks like a professional job,so maybe it got painted also. But that would take away from riding time....    :158: :158:I just purchased a new coverless top box from Motorcycles of Dulles at a nice discount. $220 no tax. My brother lives in Centerville and he picked it up for me.  I forgot to tell him how big it was. :001: Now I'm having trouble finding a lid for it, zero in the US. Hopefully somebody in the UK can help locate one.
Phantom Black please.  :017:

option1771 :

The Part Number for the Phantom Black Lid Assembly is A9508156-PR,
costing around GBP £116.55 in the U.K. from World of Triumph.

I don't know why this would not be available in the U.S. especially as the same Top Box
is also used on the Sprint GT Model, so I looked into it .......

The U.S. Bike Bandit web site Triumph Trophy SE page,
( and the World of Triumph web site in the UK )
carry quite a few mistakes and "anomalies" !  :164:

If you go the U.S.Bike Bandit web site and look up Triumph Trophy SE 2017
the Menu does not list the "TOP BOX" page which has the various coloured Lids.

If instead you go to the Bike Bandit web site and look up Triumph Trophy SE 2016
the Menu DOES list the "TOP BOX" page, and has :
Triumph LID COVER KIT, T/BOX, PHT BLK Part # A9508156-PR
at US $109.95 with FREE Shipping and a Lowest Price Guarantee !
( Availabilty = 1 to 2 business weeks, so I expect it would be ordered from the U.K ).

This may explain why you are having difficulty sourcing this Lid, if any Dealer you have contacted
is looking up parts for your "2017" Trophy SE, so I'd get back in touch with them and give them
the actual Part Number ( A9508156-PR ).

You could also try a local search using the above Part number.
( There are none listed on eBay.com at the moment, just one in the UK but it's scratched ).

If you are still struggling, then I can enquire with my local Dealer when they re-open on Tuesday
to check price and availability, and assuming they are in stock I could even get one for you,
but I would imagine that the shipping will be quite expensive due to the size of it,
compared with the price including Free shipping from Bike Bandit, if you can get one from them.

Cheers  :821:

I would have thought Coconut that the possible reason 2017 manufactured top boxes didn't show up was Triumph stopped making the Trophy in 2016. Correct me if I'm wrong. Apparently I have been known to be wrong previously. Cheers.  :169: :169:

I know all about being wrong -

I thought I was wrong once, and it turned out that I was wrong !  :745:

.... My thoughts are that on the Bike Bandit Web site you can select 2017 as a Year for the Trophy,
and while most of the Parts pages are there, the one for the Top box covers is missing,
there are only the pages listing the Carcasses / Bases without the coloured lids,
whereas if you select the Year as 2016, the "Top Box" page IS there.

Anyone contacting Bike Bandit and asking for parts for their "2017" Trophy
may encounter the same type of problem.

Just to add to the confusion, if you select 2015 as the Year, the "Top Box" page is there,
but it doesn't include the Phantom Black coloured lid, only the Lunar Silver and Pacific Blue,
even though the Phantom Black colour for the Trophy was announced by Triumph in 2014
and was definitely available by 2015 !  :087:

Cheers  :821:
