Wiring identification

Touched on this before but only just got round to taking a photo. I am trying to work out what the 3 cables should or could connect to? My trophy is a 2013 base model with a fitted triumph sat nav cradle but obviously no stereo. The cables run from beneath the tank and don’t quite reach the rear seat fittings. Any help or polite suggestions would be appreciated.

The two being held are likely to be from the GPS Cradle Mount -
the larger one being a 3.5mm Jack socket for Audio Out,
and the smaller one being a 2.5mm Jack socket for a Microphone input.

The third cable ( unseen ) may be a USB socket into which a USB Memory stick
could be inserted containing music files.

A Photo of the actual cradle might help identify which particular cradle has been fitted
so you would know which Model(s) of Sat Nav could be used.

Coconut, thanks as always for your excellent guidance. The cradle is for a 660 and now having identified it I have been able to see a wiring diagram and correctly ID what are in fact three defunct cables as described by yourself. Will now try to find a 660 unless anyone can recommend a not to expensive alternative. Thanks again

Hi Guys & Gals, I can not find a Home/Connection for this Plug. I removed the fuel tank & intake airbox to fit new filter & spark plugs. However, upon reassembly, I have failed to find just where this stray plug should have fitted. I have connected everything else & had the Engine running whilst up on the Centre Stand, but not actually moving. Everything seems to be functioning correctly & I have no Warning lights on screen. Please help to identify? The plug wires are: One Black & the other One is Brown/Pink. Cheers.

Hi Gladiator - Welcome to the Forum !

That looks very much like the Connector for the Purge Valve,
which is only used for some Countries / Markets that have the Evaporative
Control system - for stricter emissions control, such as in California.

The Wiring colours you mention are correct for it to be that.

Where there is no Purge valve, there will just be that female connector,
which should be held in place clipped to the bodywork, in front of the
Rear Suspension Unit, so it probably got dislodged when you removed the Tank.

It would normally be attached in front of the Rear Suspension Unit.

Yipeeee! Hey, thanks, fellas. I had been stressing over that Damned Plug for a while now. I still have all the Fairings off for a repaint (New Colour), & was not looking forward to having to take Tank & maybe Airbox off again. We don't have fuel emissions regulations (in New Zealand) that so many other countries have, so that will be why this "Purge Valve Connection" is not required.
