    All I want is a reliable bike with shaft drive, good weather protection, which I can ride a long way, which has a 300 mile range at about 50 to the gallon and 10,000 mile service intervals.
    My wifes Mercedes has 15k intervals, 450 mile range and 55 to the gallon and costs half as much to service as my bike (£1200 for 4 years). Something wrong somewhere?

    I agree on the maintenance expense thing.  The only thing wrong is it probably isn't as much fun as the Trophy.
