Can anyone help.
I've downloaded Tigertool and ordered the OBDII which was recommended however when I plug them it, it doesn't seem to register that anything has been connected. I get that sound from my laptop that a USB has been plugged in and the lights on the OBDII light up but on the tiger tool dialogue box at the bottom shows not connected and I cant "select port".

any ideas?

I'd suggest before you do anything else, and also presume windows 10, right click on Start button and select Device Manager.  See if there are problems with the port/driver for the device.

The only information and help I can offer is contained in the Instructions
that are downloadable from the same Topic as the TigerTool software :

CONNECTION

Before running TigerTool you'll need to connect & install your
ELM327 OBD2 interface as per the manufacturer' instructions.

The ELM327 interface should appear in Device Manager
as a serial port with an assigned port number.

If you have problems installing then please post
details in the supported forums for possible help.

Most ELM327 interfaces will not run unless they're
connected to the OBD socket on the bike.

The socket has a large black moulded shroud and is located
under the pillion or rider seat depending on the Tiger model.
( Clipped to the top of the Main battery on the Trophy ).

The socket can be carefully lifted from its mounting lug
and connected to the ELM327 interface.

When you connect, most interfaces run through a sequence
of tests causing various LED to flash.

So I would check first in Windows Device Manager that when you
plug your Interface Cable into the PC, it does show up as a Serial Port,
and has a Port Number assigned to it - If not - that is the problem,
and is likely to be due to an incorrect Driver being installed for the Cable.

Once the Interface shows up as a Serial Port in Device Manager,
connect it to the OBD Port on your Bike, Turn the Ignition ON,
and then run the TigerTool software.

If these steps don't help, then I expect T800XC will be able to offer further advice.

Glad you got it sorted. I was ready to follow-up if the advise above didn't fix it for you.
