Here's how she looks in normal light.

    With the flash/headlights

I also switched out the antenna cause I really don't like the original one. I don't use the radio so I am not worried about the reception.

    I made it shiny to!

I figured while i am at it...my wife's helmet, with specific instructions to "Do not mess with the pattern on the helmet".

    So glowy vents.

    My EXO-AT905

And I made her shimmer to.

It's a reflective vinyl meant for signage.

I cut it all with scissors and an exacto knife.

I'm quite safety conscious when it comes to being seen.  It's beyond me why so many motorcyclists buy black gear and ride around with no lights on...still, it's their choice.

I have something similar. I have black reflective vinyl panels on the rear of the panniers. Very effective, but illegal.  However, it isn't possible to get black vinyl that reflects red, only white....and that's what makes them illegal in Great Britain.  I could get red vinyl panels and that is legal, but not sure if it would spoil the look of the bike. Never been pulled over though.

I have a totally reflective over jacket ,as does my pillion, which is remarkably effective at making me visible at night. Waterproof, too.

Then I have the usual LED bullet lights and switch back LED indicators or turn signals.

    I don't mind looking like a Xmas tree  :008:

My motorcycle Jacket's got a reflective white stripe on the back of it, I take it that's totally road legal though, it's just when they are on the vehicle itself then?

I actually have no idea if what I did is legal here or not.  In fact it never even crossed my mind that it could be illegal. I did something similar on my last bike (although not quite to this extent) and I never thought about it then either.

I'm going to go with the " safety > risk of a ticket " for this one until I'm stopped for it.

Only motorcyclists know why dogs stick their head out the car window.
