IBA 48/10 Start on Labor Day 2020
« on: September 05, 2020, 04:25:59 PM »
With all the mandates for social distancing, what better way than to take off on a big motorcycle ride?  I'll be departing Monday morning at 4am from Virginia and will attempt to document with receipts a visit to all lower 48 states in less than 10 days.  My schedule is to finish in West Virginia in 7.5 days if all goes well.

The link below is to my tracking page on Spotwalla.  The proposed route is on the page already but the tracker won't show up obviously until I depart on Monday morning.

As I've said before, the Trophy is one of the best mile crunching machines ever made.  Excellent weather protection. Great gas mileage on readily available regular gas. Comfortable ergos. etc.

Enjoy tracking:  https://spotwalla.com/tripViewer.php?id=23f775f45b72e08d09

Have a great ride!

Totally agree with you. The Trophy is one of the best motorcycles to travel in any weather situation.

Great to see that the Trophy gets the kind of use it does and does so efficiently.  You have my sincere admiration for your abilities.

trophied, as you well know the Trophy is a more than perfect "long distance" riding machine. Like yourself, I'm following tdragger with pleasure. I have no doubt that he will complete his ride in time he'd planned. Cheers.  :028: :028:
