Thanks for the manual! Any chance you could snag the service manual?

Hi 2wheeler - Triumph make an electronic version of the owners manual publicly available, whereas the service manual is quite different and would need to be purchased from your local Triumph dealer  :038:

I'd be happy to scan the service manual into a searchable pdf.  I have a pdf for my Tbird and it's very handy.  I would temporarily need someone's SM, but would pay shipping to get it here and to return it.

Pretty sure Triumph would consider that a copyright violation

I hear you, but every service manual for every brand/model makes it on to the web.  Plus, we aren't about to reprint them and put them up for sale on ebay.  We are all own Trophy's and paid a lot of money for them.  On Saturday I was installing my heated grips.  I printed the instructions and they reference the Service Manual two or three times.  I figured out what I needed to, but that was a bit of a slap in the face after buying a $19K motorcycle and paying $250 for $10 grips and not receiving complete instructions.  :233: :172:  I won't feel guilty copying one for my personal use given I own the bike.

That may be true, but as a forum administrator, I know that the owner of the forum is open to litigation if copyrighted material is made available on his/her forum.

Plus, we aren't about to reprint them and put them up for sale on ebay.  We are all own Trophy's and paid a lot of money for them.
Doesn't matter, and that argument won't hold water in a court of law.  You may think this sounds silly and unnecessary, but copyright infringement is very real, and I'm certain Triumph Trophy (the forum admin) does not want a lawsuit on his hands because you don't agree with copyright laws..

I won't feel guilty copying one for my personal use given I own the bike.

If you choose to do so, I would not recommend sharing it or talking about it online.
