New owner of '96 T4 - throttle rough
« on: September 15, 2020, 01:42:12 PM »
Greetings from near Boston!

New owner of a '96 T4 w/ ~35K miles- really loving it so far! First MC in ~25 years...

Having some issue with rough throttle. Finding the spot where it actually catches is tough sometimes. Being gentle knowing how much she has in store once it catches, can take time and I find myself in turns, coasting along trying to find the spot. It's either on(!) or off. Any way to smooth it out a bit between nil and GO!?

Thanks in advance to any and all replies!

Mike

Although there may be others with knowledge of your situation/bike from the Home page:

This totally independent site is devoted to the Triumph Trophy 1200 that made it's debut in September 2012 as one of the new models in Triumph's 2013 line up - a 1215 cc triple utilising the same engine as the Tiger Explorer.

Since I've never owned any other Triumph I can't point you toward a more suitable source.
