    Pit Bull stands fitment?

Has anyone figured out if there are adapters for the Trophy to use these? There's no listings at Pit Bull for the Trophy, I can't find anything out in the interwebs, and my dealer can't find out. There's nowhere in state that I know of that actually has a selection of the adapter pins, and the only ones they have are Ducati-specific and don't come close to fitting... There's also no Tiger 1200 listings.

Hoping someone had a vendor that had a bunch of adapters and they found ones that fit. I'd love to put it up on stands next time I need tires fitted.

I don't use any Paddock stands, as I find no need for them.

If just changing the Rear tire, I put the Trophy onto the Centre Stand,
and it naturally rests onto the front wheel, allowing the rear wheel to be removed,
after moving the Exhaust Silencer out of the way.

If the Front ( or both wheels ) need to removing, again with the Trophy on the Centre Stand,
I remove the Rear Wheel first ( if needed ), then I use a pair of ratchet tie down straps
around the R & G Crash Bars, attached to a pair of strong hooks screwed into the Rafters
of my garage roof, to support the front wheel off the Ground. ( Remove the Rear wheel first ).

If you don't have the R & G Bars I'd suggest looping straps down to the Lower Yoke, or somewhere
other than using the Handlebars to avoid any risk of damaging the handlebar rubber mountings.

    Cheers  :821:

I contacted a couple of the manufacturers (I think pit-bull was one) a couple of years ago and none had anything they indicated would fit "our" bikes.  I had hoped at least for a front pin but didn't pursue it.

I agree with Coconut's version of lifting the front wheel. But an easier way is simply place a bottle jack [or similar] under the header pipes joining junction [small weld nipple pointing downwards], then raise front by raising jack. Simple. I even leave my Trophy on centre stand and bottle jack with both wheels removed to get tyres replaced. Cheers. :821: :158:

If you are working without a roof to attach ratchet straps to, you can also put the bike on the centre stand and then place something heavy in the rear case. I've used a pair of 30 lb dumbbells with success.

Having said that, the stability and convenience of Pitbull stands would be nice indeed.

Loading the rear of the bike is another option, if you only want to remove the Front wheel.

I'm not saying don't do it, but I would be very wary of Jacking Up / Supporting
underneath the Header pipes for the simple reason that if they were accidentally damaged
a replacement set is going to cost in the region of GBP £700 !  :005:

Another option, after removing the front wheel, might be to refit the Spindle through the Forks,
wrap the centre of the spindle with a cloth to protect it, and use a Jack / Axle Stand or similar
    to support the front end.

    Cheers  :821:

Not sure if this is what your looking for but, when I submit "Triumph Trophy" at R and G Racing, these paddock stand bobbins come up. Might want to call them and confirm fitment!
