Kudos to Eagle Eyed Mr. Coconut for looking at a photo of my Trophy in action, and advising me that I was missing the subject component, which was never supplied on my Trophy.

It is beginning to seem like my Trophy was hastily completed on a Friday afternoon... :084:

Luckily, the needed item was not also inexpensive, but also available, as the USPS just delivered it a few minutes ago.

Thanks again for your powers of observation, Coconut!  :821:

1st time I took the skirts off mine I found missing air dam, broken fairing mount, loose bolt floating around.  10K and 20K initial inspections done by dealer.  Nice work.
    I've done all ever since...

I may regret asking this but I looked at your pictures and exactly what is the air dam?  Is it the piece below the headlights where, I think, the air temp sensor lives?  The picture sort of looks like that piece but I've only had mine out once shortly after purchase.

It is actually a formed piece of plastic that attaches to the underside of the aluminum forks brace inside the fairing. Itís purpose is to divert air from flowing through, and into the cockpit from below.

Guess since I had problems with the same bolt on the plate covering the shift lever bolt, I better check on my "Cockpit Air Diverter.

Maybe the same guy built both our bikes, late Friday afternoon! :233:
