New Mexico Trophy Owner
« on: October 01, 2020, 03:23:20 am »
Hello!
Picked up a 13 TTSE and enjoying it so far. I’ve previously owned a Zx11, Fz1, B-King, Concours 14, Sprint St, And 2 FJR’s.

The wind protection on the trophy is the best I’ve had, no problems on my 80 minute commute in 45* weather.

Probably won’t mod it too much, but I might go for a light tinted screen, slightly louder exhaust, and some heavy, thicker bar ends. I also may replace the scratches pannier lid, but I found one for $80 online.
First step will be figuring out the radio software update, as mine has turned on somewhat randomly at stops. The PO warned not to leave it on when key is off.

Welcome to the group! And yeah, chase down the audio software- it can run the battery dead even with the key off.

 :400: from Georgia!

Below are the only 2 aftermarket, tinted windscreens that I know of.
I have both and really like the Vstream short version for summer riding. Haven't tried the Powerbronze yet.

Only motorcyclists know why dogs stick their head out the car window.

Welcome to the bunch we Trophy owners are a unusual bunch of people.

You are close enough to join us Texas group on a ride we have gotten together last year in February in the Big Bend area. One of us ride in from Phoenix.
