Don't know how where or when I lost one of item T2043941 'cover fork cap'.

Basically a plastic cover for the electric plug on top of the fork leg just looked online and had to sit down ..... top side of £27 quid delivered..... for one not a pair!

Any of you guys able to scan and 3D print one????
even if only the basic outer shape without the little moulded clips can always use a small tie wrap!

Not causing an issue but annoying to see one missing.

    Thanks,   Mike.

    I feel your pain, 1215.
I looked down about a month ago and discovered that one of the plastic plugs that covers the auxiliary mirror mounting whole was missing. Fortunately in my case I was able to find an acceptable replacement at a local hardware store.

When I was a boat owner.... well I remember a statement:

"The boat owner's second happiest day is when he buys the boat... The first happiest day is when he sells it"  - OK, that doesn't really apply.

When I bought a BMW I was told ( let me modify as it applies to any expensive thing ).

"If you have to worry about < gas, saddlebag price, parts price> you shouldn't have bought a <marque>"

They rape us for sure.  Dealers == Stealers...

My dad used to be a bodyman.  Across makes, back in the day anyway, there were many similarities.

Chev, Buick, Cadillac all used the same windshield for instance.  Chevvy = $100.   Caddy = $400.  Same exact part.

    RV's are perhaps the worst...

    Time for more coffee... (:>

I need one too.  Don't know where or when it fell off but I looked down and saw the right hand one was missing last week. Anybody have any which are not the best part of £30?

I Have 3d printed some if anyone is interested, be about £5 a pair...plus a couple of quid for postage... They're not perfect replicas but do the trick, I'll refine the model at some point to more closely resemble the original. but for now....
