Thank you for accepting me as a new member into your forum.
I live in sunny New South Wales, Australia, where you can just about ride all year round. May get a little cold or a little hot but I can live with that.
Riding since 1974, with other past family members Triumph Tiger owners (dad post WW2). This is my second triumph. A secondhand Trophy SE, purchased from a fellow forum member. Fingers crossed that this one will be better than the T509 speed triple that i bought in the early 1990's. The 509 would stall at the lights and refuse to start again. No one could sort it out and it has taken me 30 years to give the brand another go.
I started this year with a Vstrom 650, then a Vstar 1300 cruiser, and now the Triumph Trophy Se. Both the cruiser and vstrom scratched an itch that I had for a while but have long been a major fan of full on tourers and sports tourers.
This is by far the most advanced and technically enhanced motorcycle I have ever owned, and I write this less than 24 hours BEFORE I actually pick it up. I sat on it but haven't ridden it due to bad weather at the time. Very excited.
Thanks again guys/gals for letting through the door and look forward to both contributing to and learning from the forum.
Cheers,
True Blue (Wayne)

Thank you for the warm welcome, very much appreciated.
Picked up the bike yesterday and rode it for the first time. OMG! What an extraordinary machine. Unlike anything
I have had before and I have had lots of bikes. The bike is in another class to what I have been used to in the past.
Never been able to afford such a machine but as time goes on, it is now affordable.
Effortless power and really does just eat the miles doesn't it?
Once again thanks for the warm welcomes.
Cheers and happy travels to you all.
