    Quadlock Phone Mount

I installed a ram ball in the steering stem nut a few months ago.  A few weeks ago I bought some Quadlock parts to use with my phone.  I have the quadlock ram ball, the wireless charger and the case for my phone.  It makes for a secure phone mount without having to fuss with wires while charging the phone.  The phone can be attached and removed with one hand.

Guess you can't use the tank bag at the same time?

Maybe a small tank bag could be used.  You could use a longer ram arm to get the phone up higher.  I've thought about getting a tank bag but not used one so far.  I had not seen Quadlock here before so thought I would show mine.  I think the wireless adapter is a recent add-on.  The items are a little pricey.  I got mine when they had a 30% off sale.  I like the uncluttered look and the ease of use.

Several wireless docks available now.  I use an SP Connect wireless dock with Ram ball on it and their case on my phone that just rotates 90 degrees to lock it into the dock.  I put one of the Ram rubber band type retainers on it just as a safety precaution, but I really don't think it would ever rotate out of position and come off.  I find their protective case to be excellent as well.  Lots of good options now, and some of them considerably less money and simpler than the Ram product which was the first one I saw.

It's the Quadlock that makes this a little different.  You don't have the big cradle of some of the other systems and no rubber bands.  Rotate the phone maybe 30 degrees to get in and out of the charger and works with one hand.  You have to use a Quadock phone case at this time and they are limited to all Iphones and select Android phones.  I agree it is pricey.  I might not have bought at full price.  Outside of price I think it is a very good option.

Yeah, the SP Connect is also a one hand operation and the dock is smaller than the phone itself as well.  The rubber band thing is my own idea and not really necessary since it is locked in securely when rotated 90 degrees, and you can orient the dock to have the phone portrait or landscape when locked if you're not using a Ram ball mount.

How about showing a picture of your setup?  Others might be interested.

The SP mount and charger look nice.  The charger is a littler pricey, just like the Quadlock.
