So yup, just picked up a 2015.  Anything I should be on the lookout for?  I’ve admired these bikes for several years now and very happy so far with the one I brought home today; however, I have yet to log a single mile upon it  :001:  Weather permitting we’ll see how it goes tomorrow.  And yes, in the last 18 years I’ve owned more than 30 bikes and from pretty much every manufacturer; however, never owned a dedicated touring machine.  A few days away from my 50th birthday thought maybe I’d  admit that I’m not as young as I used to be.  Hopefully the Trophy won’t make me feel “too” old per se  :008:  PPeviously, I had and rebuilt a ‘99 Thunderbird Sport and also owned a wonderful 2010 Street Triple.  Traded in a 790 Duke to get the Trophy, quite a switch there.

Hi bpreynolds2, and :400: to the Club !

There is an absolute wealth of information within the pages of this Forum,
so have a good browse around, paying attention to any "Sticky" Topics
that appear at the top of the list in each Section.

The "SEARCH" button ( top left of the menu bar ) is a useful tool,
and will usually find something you are looking for,
but if not just start a New Topic in one of the Sections
and you'll soon have the answer(s) you need.

To start with you could have a look at this Topic - aimed at potential purchasers.
Don't be put off by the apparently long list of problems -
Many of these have been addressed with updates by Triumph, have affected only
a very small number of Trophies, or are just things to be aware of  :

What to look for when Buying a Pre-Owned ( Used ) Trophy.

Another good place to start is here :

TOP TIPS for New Forum Members !

One thing you MUST check is that your Trophy has had the Ignition Wiring Safety Recall Inspection -
Click the link in my Signature line at the bottom of this message to find out more.

Cheers  :821:  Happy New Year, and Happy New Trophy !  :028:

It took me 45 years of motorcycle Ownership before I purchased the Trophy as my first Triumph, and over the last two years and 35,000+ miles, I have enjoyed my purchase, as well as the camaraderie of many of this Forum’s members.  :028:

Does seem like a good bunch on here.  Reminds me a good bit of the wildguzzi board of which I’ve been a member for many years, a ton of information and good camaraderie also.

    Welcome bpreynolds2!  :400:

Beautiful roads to ride up there in the Blue Grass State. The Trophy will make the ride all the better.  You didn't mention anything about this, but if you haven't already, have your nearest Triumph dealer check the records to make sure the few posted recalls and service bulletins are all checked off. And, have the shifter pivot bolt replaced periodically. Finally, keep your bike on a battery tender while it rests in the stable for any length of time (this will help keep the gremlins at bay).

    Ride safe! :821:
