I use the dealership if the bike is still under warrantee or if the job is beyond my capabilities, which are limited.

I can do most basic jobs, service, replace heated grips, fit R&G engine bars, install lowering kit of rear, replace entire breaking system, (Oh that was on a different bike). Once the warrantee expires I have a local independent garage which is considerably less expensive and and so far offers a great service. so I have a choice: myself, Triumph or the independent. I guess it is in Triumph's interest to promote their own service in order to keep their technicians employed and keep their customers coming back.
