I'm a committed Triumphian, as I've had great experiences with my Triumphs, and really no problems. As I mentioned before, the Sprint GT is fantastic, but the riding position is really too uncomfortable for my legs and hips. This week I visited a dealer who has a beautiful Trophy, and sitting on it I knew this would ride great for me. I've made some modifications to my GT, including handlebar risers and dropped pegs, but it isn't, and realistically can not be, enough.
So a Trophy it has to be! There are several around the NorthEast available now, so as soon as the weather clears a bit I'll get serious about looking at them.

I went to a local dealer to look at a Lunar Silver 2013 TTSE, and I liked everything about it. It is one-owner with only 3,600 miles. The poor guy had a divorce, so he had to sell it. It's been sitting on the dealer's floor for some time, waiting for me, lol.

Seems maybe the dealer was looking to move on. From what I've read on here and on other forums, I guess the TTs are not moving too well. I had already filled out the form on their website, for an evaluation of my trade-in, which was higher than any other dealer had quoted.

I rode my Sprint GT over there, the owner came out and looked it over; I was expecting to have to explain or justify some things, but he just did a quick glance, confirmed the website evaluation to the salesman, and we wrapped up the deal. It's in the shop for dealer prep and I'll pick it up either today or tomorrow.

I'm excited to be part of the TTSE crew, and looking forward to putting a few miles on her!

Welcome aboard !

While the Dealer is prepping your Trophy
ask them to ENSURE it has had the Audio
Software Update to Version 1.04E

Without that update you are quite likely
to suffer from drained Main Batteries !

It is a well known problem, but if the Dealer
does not seem to to know of it, come back here
for further advice !

I too came from a Sprint GT great bikes as long as you keep on top of the chain adjuster etc, I also felt like my trophy belonged the first time I sat on her

ArkyInNY  and have one  on me. Currently on a 2016 with over 80,000 on the clock. This coming Saturday [13th] I'm of on a FarRide of about 1083 kms. Leave at 03.30am. and home for the evening meal. I don't have any issues with doing over 1,600 kms. in a day. Comfortable with cruise to make it easier. Enjoy when you have it. Cheers.
