I couldn't stand the OEM seat anymore. I put in an order for a custom Corbin seat. My design. I think it will make my bike look so much nicer and ride that much better. What do you guys think?

I have a Corbin on mine and it looks and feels much better than the original seat. Some people just don't like Corbins, so you may hear some of that. But I think you made a good choice.

I had a Corbin on my '91 st1100 and loved it. I'm hoping this is the same. The lowrider seat pushes you forward and to sit comfortable it's like your between couch cushions. I can't wait to have this on my bike. :029:

Corbin is great, as long as you don't have questions or problems after you give them your money.  Or before they even get your money in some cases.

I've noticed the same sensation with the low seat (which my bike came with).  While I've started to get used to it, I've had many Corbins in the past and have contemplating getting one for my TTSE.  Send us pics of the Corbin when you get it in and give us a report on how it feels, please.

I had a Corbin on an R1200RT and it was very comfortable.  The leather feels really good, like a saddle should.

I have never owned a Corbin Saddle, so I am unqualified to comment on them, but I have had great success with Russell Daylong Saddles on my last two touring bikes. To me, the real advantage is that Russell takes all your vital measurements, and with a couple photos of me on the bike, proceeds to custom tailor the Saddle to my dimensions. I donít know if Corbin does that. Russell Saddles sure arenít pretty, but I have never owned a more comfortable long distance Saddle.

Here is a photo of my Russell Saddle on the middle Trophy, taken at a breakfast GTG with Forum members JanFMiller and ChiefMN some time ago...
