    Hi Gang,

Can anyone tell me where the "spark plug" section is in the manual? I want to change the plugs and cant seem to find it in the manual. Tired of looking. Figured I would ask.

    Thanks Guys!

Page 1.34 is the Service Manual that not everyone has,
but the information is also in the Owners Handbook
on Page 165 that everyone should have  :169:

    Thanks guys!

I was actually hoping to find the procedure for changing the plugs.

I assume the tank has to come off, but I wasn't sure what else was involved. Just wanted to review it all first.

    Thanks again!

This has been a couple days now, but yes, the tank does have to come off. We have a "how to" on here for that, but I would still be hesitant to do it without a shop manual in my hand. It's not terribly difficult, but it is time consuming. Take a look at other things you can do while you have it apart, i.e.  air filter, clean throttle bodies, etc.

    Hi Jeff,

I took the tank off today.

I have a shop manual, but I cant find the section on changing plugs. I was hoping it would have the procedures for pulling the airbox and changing plugs etc.

Anyone know where that can be found?

Check chapter three, Cylinder Head, in the shop manual. You don't have to go very far in chapter three before you've exposed them. In the process of getting to the spark plugs, you will have pulled the airbox.
