    Front Wheel Spacers....HELP
    on: Mar 25, 2021, 10.36 am
    Mar 25, 2021, 10.36 am

I have a quick question for the group... I have a 2016 model and removed the front tire to change the tire and in the process one of the spacers fell out in the process.  I did not pay attention and removed the other spacer without noticing until later that they are different in length.  Do you happen to know which spacer goes on which side?  I think the larger spacer goes on the (RH) hand brake side and the smaller spacer goes on the (LH) clutch lever side....but not for certain.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Longer spacer on RH side (as defined as when sitting on the bike).

The individual spacer can be mounted in either direction.  The lines are only for identification of left and right spacer.  If memory serves (as I am too lazy to go upstairs and out to the garage to look) the single line is on the left side and the double lines are on the right side.

    From the manual, pg 16.6:

"The right hand spacer is longer than the left. To identify the spacers, the right hand spacer has two machined rings while the right has a single machined ring."

I'm assuming the last "right" is supposed to be "left" and is on the Manual Errata list compiled and maintained by Coconut.

    I'm assuming ....

That's Right ! - The last "Right" is wrong and should be Left,
while the first "Right" is Right !  :745:

.... or just believe the List of errors that you referred to
which put Right all of the known Wrongs !  :028:

    Hello,

I had a heck of a time removing the spindle. Upon closer inspection the right spacer will not slide and gets stuck.  I am assuming it should slide. Is this correct.  I already ordered new ones but it will be a week or two for delivery. Thanks
