What does the Sport mode do to the Trophy? Tried it yesterday and the suspension stiffened up and the performance seem to also increased. Also, noticed the gas mileage dropped off.

The various modes only adjust suspension damping.
There is no difference in throttle mapping from mode to mode.

The suspension settings have always puzzled me as I find there's not a lot of difference between the various modes.  I do feel the bike seat rising or falling slightly switching modes but I generally don't mess with them much, even when switching from single rider to two up.  I'm sure there's a better understanding of it all by other members, but not by me  :084:

Sport mode is stiffer and makes for a rougher ride.  Mileage may have dropped off because it encouraged you to ride more aggressively...?   :109:

Sport mode is a bit too harsh for me except on very smooth road surfaces, and there are not a lot of those in the Texas Hill Country.  Mine stays in Normal or Comfort for the trips to and from the twisty places.

Yes, it's only a suspension change.

I love it and that you can change whilst riding.

As for the gas mileage, if you stick it in Sports, you ride more progressively because Sport mode does nothing to the engine.

Maybe, I just got on it a little more, it does make it more fun to ride in the twisties.
