1. The Key has a Transponder Chip that must be programmed to the ECU
otherwise the Immobiliser will not be disengaged and you will not be able to start the engine.
If you just want a Spare key for the Luggage & Fuel Cap etc, you can get Blank Keys without the chip,
for just a few Dollars.
2. You don't NEED to have a Bluetooth device connected to listen to the Audio system.
Within the Audio Settings Menu, select the Audio Output as SPEAKERS.
( Read the Audio Manual or download it here under the "Adventure & Touring" Category :
Triumph Owners Handbook Library )
3. There is a catch on the side of the electrical plug that has to be depressed to release it, then pull
the plug out holding the body NOT the wires to avoid the risk of pulling the wires out of the moulding.
4. There is a plastic cage at the fuel tank filler neck to prevent inserting the fuel nozzle too far
and possibly causing damage over time to the plastic of the fuel tank.
Some Members have cut this away to allow the nozzle to be inserted further.
If the nozzle is held vertically when filling, with the tip resting on the cage,
the Fuel delivery will usually cut out as son as the fuel level reaches it -
Here in the UK I have never had a problem with the fuel overflowing when filling up.
5. I can only recommend adhering to the recommended service intervals and procedures.
The 20K Service is the "biggie" and at a Triumph Dealer it will cost !
Cheers
