Lubing the windshield mechanism

Whats the easiest way to get to the spiral drive to lubricate it and what lubricant is recommended mine seems to judder a little and seems to struggle sometimes

Strathroy - I'm not sure about the drive but what I have done in the past is grab a fairly large syringe with the clear plastic tubing and fill the syringe with white lithium grease. Cut the clear tube to the length you desire and basically aim and shoot. Hope this helps get you started!

Wheni had the front in bits (to fit sat navigation) I sprayed the helical drive with perfect spray. Every time I wash the bike (not often) I srpay lube up under the front and into all the apatures around the screen.
