Newbie Trophy rider, not newbie Triumph rider
« on: September 12, 2013, 02:26:11 AM »
Well, I'm moving on from a 2008 Triumph Sprint ST 1050 ABS, so I'm not new to Triumph triples (I also ride a Tiger 800XC).  I'm trading in the Sprint on Friday 9/13/2013, keeping the Tiger for solo riding.  My wife really disliked riding pillion on the Sprint.  She is more comfortable on the Tiger, but I'm more comfortable with more power, so we're going for the Trophy for two-up trips, and I'll probably continue to commute to work on the Tiger.  Wife entity is very happy with the pillion ergos on the Trophy.  Lunar Silver seems wimpy after the Tornado Red Sprint.  Can't seem to do blue.  A gloss black Trophy would look so good!  Anticipation is hard on the work ethic.  :001:

:400: Welcome to the forum.  I had a Tiger 800XC before my Trophy.  The TT suits me better.  Enjoy yours !
