GPS mount for garmin xt

Hi, I have a 2017 Trophy SE and would like to know what gps mount I would need if I were to purchase a Garmin xt. Thanks for the help.

It depends what you mean by "mount" !

If you are buying a new Garmin Zumo XT it is supplied with a Cradle Mount,
designed for permanent fitting onto a Bracket, and also a Suction type mount
designed for use on the inside of a car windscreen.

There are also a few accessories in the box allowing various "RAM" mounting options.

For attaching to the Trophy, there is a dedicated CNC Machined bracket
that fits in the centre of the upper Instrument Panel in place of the XM antenna,
which gets re-positioned onto the the Green coloured plate
of the new Sat Nav bracket in this image :



The Triumph Part number is A9828011,
though you may need to search eBay and Amazon etc
as many Dealers seem to have no stock.

The front Cockpit Instrument Panels have to be dismantled to fit it,
which is not difficult, but is a bit time consuming, especially the first time !

The XT is a good fit on the Trophy mount.  Happy with mine.

The XT looks pretty good on the factory mount.  If I end up not liking the Beeline Moto that I'm trying out (on the factory mount), the XT will be my next step.

I just want to clarify before purchasing these bits…

To mount the XT, I will need the Triumph GPS Mount A9828011  A N D  the Tripmph GPS Connector Kit A9930122 ?

You can work around the connector kit.  The XT requires a 12v hot wire and ground.  You could tap into the gps wiring on the bike or find another acceptable hot wire.  The connector kit makes a for an easy connection.
